Hot on the heels of revealing the name for the new harry potter attraction, Universal Creative just released more tantalising details about the upcoming Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
In a 4 and half minute video uploaded to YouTube, actor Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in the movies) reveals more details with the help of the movie’s Art Director Alan Gilmore. Here is a little more detail on what we can expect from our ride into the Forbidden Forest. The video is embedded below for you to view but these are the highlights:
- Riders will need to be at least 48” to ride.
- The
pre show and queue for the attraction will have guests attend Hagrid’s care of magical creatures class. - Over 1200 live trees have been planted to create the immersive outdoor setting.
- The ride will travel at up to 50 mph.
- You can expect twists and turns throughout the ride circuit, forwards and backwards!
- It is billed as the most immersive roller coaster attraction ever created.
- The ride car is one of a kind and depending on whether you sit in the
sidecar or on the motorbike you will get 2 very different ride experiences. - Along the way, you will encounter magical creatures such as a Centaur, mischievous Cornish Pixies and Fluffy the three-headed dog.
- As well as magical creatures you will rush past various challenging obstacles including dropping into a pit of devils snare.
- we will even come across a magical creature never before seen in the movies.
- Hagrid is one of the franchise’s most popular characters and the Forbidden Forest has yet to be brought to life so you can be sure no expense has been spared to create this rich environment.
- More surprises are being kept for opening day which is set for 13th June.
